To me dreams were always somewhat of a premonition, with a twist. I always believed dreams would only come true if you told somebody about it BEFORE breakfast. So far it has seemed to work.
One time I dreamed that I would receive a pony as a gift, I made sure to tell my mom before I dug into that mornings breakfast. I then received a pony for Christmas. I am unsure if that is considered fate or if this superstition I believe is just telling someone what you want or would like to happen.
The weirdest dream too this day that I have ever had, that lingers with me on a daily, is a dream I had where I am standing in the middle of an ally. In the ally my cousin crosses from right to left riding his scooter as my younger brother stands to the side. It is by far my most vivid dream and I am always trying to uncode the meaning of it. To this day I still do not understand and I have had this dream more than once and I swear that I once lived it.
I consider this fate. This is something that has happened for a greater reason then just my .brain going crazy. Deep down I know fate is real and everything happens for a reason. I truly believe dreams have meanings and that is why i disagree with the character in R&J who considers dream. "the children of idle minds."
