Purpose Project... conclusion

We have just finished our purpose project. We decided we wanted to do something that would really affect our community, so we decided whats better than using our words to lift people up. We ended up interviewing 13 strangers and then complimentedthem afterwards. We recordered there reactions, which showed the power compliments had. They always cuased a smile, not only on the recieving end, but also the giving end. It was awesome to see how just one compliment could change someones mood entirely. Our project was a success at observing the uplifting affects of compliments and positive words in general. Our next goal for this project is to create a sort of chain of positive words, so I you were to recieve a compliment, you would then go and give one. This way our project has sort of a legacy it leaves, as the papers and presentations come to an end. In the future, if I were to run an experiment like this again, I would run it on a larger scale. Instead of complimenting and interviewing 13 people, I would try to interview 50 or more. This way it would impact more community members.
