Shakespeare invented over 1700 words. He was able to invent many commonly used words, so decided to take a go at word making myself. I ended up with Jivience, the emotion of no emotion. The assignment called for an entire script to describe the newfound word. (I will post it down below). I have a new appreciation for the play Romeo and Juliet because I know how long it probably took Shakespeare to come up with the words he needed. It took me a good hour to think of my word. Although it took me a while I was very proud of myself for creating what I thought as a powerful word. I asked someone to read my definition and they told me it was oddly relatable, which I count as a success. I was surprised at how easy it was to define the word and I am excited to share the final piece. The one thing that was especially satisfying while I was working on the piece was my work process. I was able to brain storm ideas i wanted to include in it, and after I was done brain storming, I rewrote it and organized it how I wanted to. It worked very well an
d It was very quick. I want people to take away that it is okay to feel like your living your day over and over, but I hope they will decide to do things spontaneously. I hope they realize that they only get one life, so they should live in the moment and if they ever feel like there world is going round and round they should stop and do something about it.
